As of yesterday, I passed the one month usage of Ghost as my personal blogging engine. I must say, that I’m quite amazed at its simplicity. Although there are times that I miss the bells and whistles that WordPress has to offer, sometimes I just enjoy looking at the stark white canvas that is presented during authoring.

I’m not sure why, but the interface actually makes me feel like I’m authoring content instead of updating a Website. I know…I know, there isn’t a difference, however, as the type cascades across the screen, there is something beautiful in its simplicity. Almost like a typewriter making an imprint on a piece of blank paper.

While I have yet to make the plunge to transition my personal Website over to Ghost, I do think I’ll continue my musings utilizing this platform for a bit.

If you’re like me and just like trying new things, I’d recommend giving Ghost a whirl. However, if you’re an if it’s not broke, don’t fix it type person, stick with what you know and enjoy. I’ve even written instructions on how you can easily set up this platform in the Azure environment.
